Artist Statement

Jeanne Williamson’s Orange Construction Fence Series is a combination of monoprinted textures of orange construction fences, with painted and hand stamped shapes, on one large piece of fabric. The fabric is stitched to highlight different lines and patterns.

Biography

Jeanne Williamson combines printmaking, painting, collage, and sewing in her art work. She is very interested in working with monoprints of orange construction fences, and how they relate to nature, architecture, and to other construction fence patterns. Her work can be seen in galleries and museums all over the world, and in many books and magazines.
